When a dryer stops heating or a dishwasher won’t drain, you need three things: what usually causes it, which part fixes it, and where to buy the one that fits your model. This site puts those in one place, brand by brand.
Daniel Hayes is the pen name used by the site’s founder. We’re not appliance technicians, so for anything beyond simple checks and part swaps, we recommend a qualified technician.
How we write our guides
- Cheapest checks first. Every fix-it guide starts with the free checks before any part.
- Model number always. We tell you to order by your exact model number, and point you to stores that let you search by it.
- Safety included. Each guide says when to unplug, shut off the gas or call a technician.
- Official sources linked. Guides link to the manufacturer’s own help pages where one exists.
