How to Find Your GE Dryer Model Number
Quick answer: Open the door and look around the door opening. If it’s not there, check the back of the door, then the back panel.
You need your GE dryer’s model number to order parts that fit. Here’s where to find it.
Where the label is
- Inside the door frame. Open the door and look around the opening, on the dryer side. This is the most common spot.
- On the back of the door. Some models put the label on the door itself.
- On the back panel, if neither of the spots above has it.
Reading the label
Look for “Model” or “M/N”. GE model numbers mix letters and numbers, and the last few characters often mark the color or version. Copy all of them.
Can’t read it?
- Photograph it with your phone’s flash and zoom in.
- Check the manual or the receipt from the store.
Next step
